what I want... I got a few weeks, so let me do a complete 5 min demo

4/9/ 2025 starting out better than ususal with a solid idea instead of making it up as i go along

at Start we see a nice "attract mode"
 Player is sent to a screen where they can add some options to their probe, which adds mass which limits where the probe can land.. gamey reasons, but a lighter probe can do easier landings, more interesting places
Europa sim.. Id like to gather as much info on Europa as I can and make a nice accurate map of the place, and give the Player a way to choose a landing spot
next, little animation/short of the probes' journey to Europa, and a nice splash screen (animated would be nice, something worthy of looking at for a while)
then the actual gameplay...
um.. Players mission is to use the probe to fgind new life and interesting features? 
and maybe an alien, because it's supposed to be scary..  so simple top-down scroller, the probe in the middle of the screen starts landed in the ice (or broken through the ice and in the water.. ill need to do some research between now and the jam starting next week. 
once in the water the player will be able to control their probe (which will mostly move down, through the water until it reaches the alien ocean floor) and i want it to look spooky, but not too dark.. so maybe use no Black at all... ill work on it
